Allison Sterka

I was born and raised in the Chicagoland area. Since I was a little girl, I always dreamed of what I would be when I grew up. I had fantasies of becoming a lawyer, pharmacist, or even a nurse. It wasn’t until I was in my third year of college that I truly found my calling in life. I have a passion for event planning.

 I never knew that I could make a living planning events. Having the ability to express my creativity and seeing the reaction of the event attendees is an incredible feeling. I switched my major to Mass Communication with a concentration in Public Relations, Advertising and Journalism.

It was here that I developed my love of writing as well. In my portfolio, I showcase some of the pieces I am most proud of in event planning, graphic design, and writing. I intend for this portfolio to show my capabilities in this field.
